Topik Hidayatulloh, Public Relations Manager for Perumda Pasar Jaya, stated that the comfort of traders and visitors is a top priority. Therefore, several crucial infrastructure improvements have been completed as part of the rebranding effort and to increase visitor appeal.

"We recognize that the current challenge for traditional markets is competition with modern retail spaces. Therefore, the physical improvements we have completed are the initial foundation," he said, Monday (4/27).

Pasar Jaya also consistently holds the Pasar Santa Festival every year as a platform for creative communities and MSMEs to attract the interest of the younger generation back to the market.

"Perumda Pasar Jaya also continues to open dialogue with traders to formulate a more specific rebranding concept, in line with the spirit of regional transformation as has been successfully carried out in the Blok M area," he explained.

Pasar Santa now has a new, more comfortable look without losing its identity as an iconic culinary and hobby center in Jakarta.

As for information, a number of crucial infrastructure improvements that have been completed include:

1. Visual Refreshment: Repainting the entire building exterior to give a clean and modern feel.

2. Public Facility Improvement: Total improvement of the toilet area to make it more hygienic and provision of a more representative ATM Center for ease of transactions.

3. Interior Comfort: Replacing ceramic tiles in the market corridors and installing fans in the food court area to ensure better air circulation for visitors.

4. Supporting Infrastructure: Casting (concreting) of parking areas for smoother mobility and construction of a more organized and environmentally friendly Waste Disposal House (TPS).

5. Aesthetics and Open Space: Creation of a new garden in the Lobby 6 area (near the ATM Gallery) as a green space and comfortable waiting area.
